Immigration is one of the most pressing issues in the developed world. The policies enacted today are bound to shape the world for generations to come. Unlike various financial, labour, and pension regulations, immigration benefits, once proffered, are very difficult to reverse. This blog is an attempt to further the discussion of several overlooked aspects of immigration policy — particularly the long-term effects of different schemes for granting residency. Blog posts here will generally consist of short essays on economic, ethical, and geopolitical dimensions of current policies, and will sometimes suggest potential solutions.
